The Phoenix now perched in its subdued majesty within the shadowy depths of The Fort. Xy-Roks’s next task loomed: retrieving the remains of his fallen ally, High Lord Zephyr. The path ahead was perilous, but Xy-Roks, now empowered by the Cube of Kaladara, was resolute.

Zephyr’s remains lay in the ruins of The Citadel, the fortress where he once sought to extend his dominion over Eldoria. Though abandoned after the disbandment of the Pillagers, the crumbling structure was still a symbol of Zephyr’s dark legacy.

During the weeks of preparation for his journey to the Emberfell Realm, Xy-Roks focused his energy, honing his connection to the Cube. He sought to perfect his ability to traverse the Interstice, the mysterious plane of reality tied to the artifact. At last, he was ready. Gripping the Cube tightly, Xy-Roks closed his eyes, murmuring an incantation. A pulse of energy surged through him as he vanished from the mortal plane.

Suspended in the enigmatic expanse of the Interstice, Xy-Roks marveled at the endless cosmic void surrounding him. The space shimmered with swirling hues of violet and silver, its vastness both disorienting and exhilarating. Here, the Cube's power made the impossible... more
