Curiosity cleaned the vat! What we discovered in the abandoned château chai.

The château's long abandoned chai (wine barrel room) and pressoir (wine making room) were both crammed with an aladdin’s cave of regalia discarded over more than a century. We even came across an elegant, abandoned 19th century horse-drawn carriage.

This week we start the careful work of clearing these buildings and uncover an intriguing underground discovery.
