genre: psychedelic folk
year: 1970s
label: Diskport (SK-0001)
an extremely obscure Japanese private folk single released on Diskport by a duo going by the name S&K, borrowed from the first letters of their first names in romanized Japanese (Shoji Ito and Katsunori Takahashi). both sides are very emotional, with the A-side being a midtempo psych folk-rock downer with heavy electric guitar riffs. very dense, while the B-side is very minimalistic and a favorite find of mine. a slow tempo loner folk ballad named Platform in English, with train field recordings front and back-ending the song. i can imagine it's possibly something about a train station platform? my Japanese isn't good enough to tell, lol.
this is where i'd tell you to support the artists but you literally can't. just enjoy the music, that's as much as we can do :')
