Here's a little tribute to my hometown! Nex Machina was published in 2017 by Helsinki-residing game studio Housemarque, also known for the awarded Returnal in 2021. Nex Machina is a fast-paced arcade shooter packed with tons of great music, composed by Ari Pulkkinen including this track here, which is my favourite. Due to its synth-driven and dark mood I decided to try a free trial on Neural DSP:s newest plugin Archetype Rabea after watching some inspiring videos of its guitar synth module. (NDSP located also in Helsinki) And man, that's one hell of a synth! A real joy to play, no latency and the lead sound I used on video, was one of the presets with just minor tweaks.
