This video is part of the "Girl Power" series that contains video clips of female artists who sing or share lead vocals on songs on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart between the 1970s and 1990s. Each artist is included once, twice if she sang solo and as part of a group, even going so far as to include some duets in addition to solos. Songs are ordered somewhat chronologically, this video containing songs between 1984-1989. Sorry for any omissions, it was difficult to include all cases of female lead vocals.
