I have a show in 2 days, and I want to play a new track when I'm on! So let's make some house music from start to finish using hardware and Ableton live. I start with some samples on my Octatrack MKii and then add the drums from my Syntakt. I was supposed to use a Digitakt but I left it at the office.. So instead, I end up adding some samples inside of Ableton Live once I get around to arranging the track. I'll also do some live recording of percussion instruments and figure out ways to make them fit in the mix of this bumping house track! I'm actually super happy with how this song came out and it got the crowd moving at the show! For those of you who came to see me play at Scenario 808 in Los Angeles thank you!
