Yet another primary school has closed early amid health and safety concerns.This time, it is Gordon Walters Primary, which was closed this morning out of caution for the health and safety of staff and students.
Communications Specialist at the Ministry of Educational Transformation, Gaynelle Marshall, says the Ministry of Health and Wellness advised that the school be closed to allow for investigations.
Ms. Marshall added that some teachers had communicated feelings of discomfort to the principal.
St. Bernard’s Primary reopened yesterday after being closed for two days last week to allow for industrial cleaning, following reports of concerning symptoms in some students.
