Have you tried streaming games from your PC? 🤔One of the most popular questions I get whenever I show using Apollo + Moonlight to stream games is: “How bad is the lag?” In short, it’s almost ENTIRELY dependent on your internet connection and WiFi, and also your stream settings.
When I am locally connected to my home network, I get around 3-5ms of network latency, and honestly it feels really close to playing at my desk.
When im away from home on a different network, I can get around 30ms on a decent WiFi connection, and better if I had a great WiFi connection. I would not play fast paced fighting or shooting games like this but still it’s definitely playable for other types of games.
Just remember the biggest bonus to streaming games, is that you’re able to play on devices that you normally wouldn’t, have better graphics, and save battery life vs running the game on the device locally.
