I'm pretty sure the first time I heard this old school jam was riding around in my Mom's VW Bug in the mid seventies while she was driving me through my hometown of Detroit. I'll never forget, she would listen to this radio station WDRQ and they had this wild and crazy morning show filled with lots of laughs but they played all of the hits of the day including the incredible "Doobie Brothers." I would later revisit this song many times going to small Bar's around town in my early 20's like: (Skippers & Honest john's) they both had really cool Jukebox's. Juke joints were the best for music lovers like myself because they were filled with all types of records from old Motown, to Rock, to Funk etc. I could basically DJ without actually DJing (LOL). I guarantee this edit will definitely catch a few "Old House Heads" off guard when played this summer on the dance floor. Enjoy!!!
