On 20 August 2020, the Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) hosted a briefing for its Energy Innovation Network on biogas technologies, with a focus on agricultural applications. The webinar featured technology and solution providers, as well as a farmer who has successfully put biogas to work at her farm to eliminate her fourth biggest expense (energy) to become revenue positive for energy. Biogas represents a great opportunity for farmers to take organic waste challenges and turn them into cleaner energy and an income stream.
