Overall movies of the 1980s are known for their unique and creative plots as well as their genre bending generation defining storylines. However the music from many of these films is as iconic as the movies themselves. In today's show we explore a handful of these songs. We have included a range of compositions from chart topping title songs to non-single tracks that nonetheless transport you to a classic scene. Many of the records played are on picture discs so enjoy the visuals as well as the sounds.
