We are both singing on this our vocals are FX'D to FK , it has to be said ' fx mainly used UAD TOPLINE VOCAL SUITE but you know what they say in the recording industry sh1t in ,sh1t out 'so no amount of fx can fix a bad vocal Lazar is the main singer and he does have an incredible singing voice even live with no fx . but sometimes you need to get a vocal to sit in the mix that's what we were doing here ' There wasn't too much messing with the vocals Lazar's lead vocal was pitched up a couple of semitones very very subtle autotune at parts a ducking reverb at parts and nothing much else with effects .
It was mixed to ampex 1/4 inch tape through a vintage neve console in mono and a few tube pre-amps in the effects chain and thats what makes it sound like a classic 60 years old song .
and the songwriting of course :)
