All five living US presidents put aside their differences and joined together to honour their predecessor, Jimmy Carter whose state funeral was held in Washington.

The 39th US president died at the age of 100 on 29 December 2024 in his hometown of Plains, Georgia.

President Joe Biden gave a eulogy, saying that Mr Carter taught him the importance of treating "everyone with dignity and respect".
