During 1992, the owner of Nottingham’s Dance station, Rave FM, decided to change the name to Touch FM.
The new station still played dance music, on the final Rave FM frequency of 107.3.

It is believed the name change was to try to get a licence to broadcast legally. This never happened, and Touch FM was last heard in early 1993.
