This documentary follows the work of customs officers and police units as they patrol the Straits of Gibraltar, uncovering the routes and networks behind the growing cannabis trade.

Since the early 1990s, former smuggling routes have evolved, and a complex system of organized activity has developed. This film explores how this shift has impacted law enforcement and communities, as well as the broader economic implications.

We also take a look at domestic cultivation in regions like Catalonia, where police dismantle multiple grow operations every week. Despite close collaboration between police, prosecutors, and judges, limited resources and legal challenges remain.
