Another date has been set for the Minister of Land Reform and Rural Development, Mzwanele Nyhontso, to meet with the AmaZulu King MisuZulu kaZwelithini.

The meeting aims to resolve the impasse between the King, who is the chairperson of Ingonyama Trust, and his board. Since the breakdown of relations between the board and the king, Parliament and the Department have been trying to work together to find a resolution.

Nyhontso, today, told Parliament's Land Reform Portfolio Committee that while this debacle is playing out, his department is unable to properly carry out its mandate of overseeing the Trust.
