🟢 I used Vital's compressor to achieve a consistent, loud, and phat sound for all the presets in my Vital Preset Pack Vol. 2.⭕ Vital's compressor might be misunderstood and underrated, but it's actually super powerful and easy to use. It consists of two sections: downward compression and upward compression. Downward compression is the traditional compression we all know, where the volume is turned down when it reaches the threshold. Upward compression is the complete opposite; it raises the volume below the threshold.
✅ To achieve the best results, you must find a balance between raising the quieter parts of the audio using the upward compression section and controlling how loud the loudest parts of the audio are using the downward compressor.
