After oversleeping at the rest area near Greensboro NC, we make some coffee and hit the road. Continuing our trip to ocean city Maryland for bikefest 2024.
Again we pass through/over the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel which is always interesting. Shipping barges to the right and a Naval vessel to the left. With long spans of bridges and two dips below the surface of the Chesapeake, this bridge tunnel is an amazing feat of engineering.

All in all the trip went well and we made great time. Arrived at the scheduled time that the gps estimated at the time of departure. Early enough to meet up with some friends for dinner at lombardies trattoria. This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in all of america.
