Following Christ is the ultimate trigger for the reprobated minds of this world. If you’re going to convert to following Christ, and do it for real (not a fake halfway conversion where you don’t die to your old self), spirits are going to work through people to attack you for it. The last thing Satan wants is to watch one of his useful idiots wake up and find Christ and begin to live righteously. Prepare for battle if you’re going to follow Christ and expect heavy losses on the battlefield (of your old friends, colleagues, associates, drinking buddies, etc, etc…) Most people you know are gonna want nothing to do with you after you turn to Jesus. 2 Corinthians 6: 14 “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?”
