Merrick's Tusk from Nottingham ( UK) came over to the white Noise studio on the 5th of October 2016 to bring over their heavily emo influenced sound.

Bio:
Merrick's Tusk are a group of four adult men from Nottingham re-living their early teen years of the early 2000’s emo dream, taking influence from the likes of Biffy Clyro and Rival Schools and combining a joint need to escape their feels by playing loud and dancing around onstage.
Rising from the ashes of a previous Nottingham band, the wannabe Hall and Oates duo of John (Vocals, Guitar) and Ad (Bass, Vocals) auditioned drummers in Tim’s basement for a few weeks in 2013 before realising that Tim himself could drum and enlisted him straight away - Sam followed on guitar a couple of years, and guitarists, later.
Merrick’s Tusk have built up a strong following in the UK, leading to support slots for Jonah Matranga, Tellison and Beach Slang among others and enjoyed some success, as well as learning the true meaning of brotherhood among men, touring mainland Europe in late 2016 including shows in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.
Their first E.P, Sonder, was followed-up in 2016 with the 6-track E.P ‘Regroup & Reform’ and MT are looking to head back into the studio in early-2017 to record a full-length album jam packed with the kind of post-hardcore melodies, riffs and rhythm you’d expect on an Emo Diaries compilation.
And yes, they are named after The Elephant Man.
