
If a place or a hobby feels bad or provokes anxiety, even if you used to LOVE IT, it feels like you have to avoid it from now on.
You can’t just do the things you want or go to the places you love. Because what if this bad thing happens? Or what if you go there and feel a certain bad feeling?
I get it, I’ve been there. But that avoidance just makes it so much worse.
And honestly, the best way to make anxiety, panic, and intrusive thoughts smaller - is to make your world BIGGER.
That’s right - make your world BIGGER by doing the things you love and going the places you’ve been avoiding.
Will it feel weird? Scary? Frightening? Disgusting? Strange? Sure. The first time.
But eventually you’ll get used to it, and it won’t feel so bad.
You’ll start to get your world back. But you have to start calling the shots vs the other way around.
