Nearly the end of week five and I made more progress today than I thought I would. Everything just kind of worked out and there weren't too many headaches along the way to slow things down. It was only a few days ago that I uncovered the floor to find it was rotten and a major unplanned part of the project. So to have it nearly complete now is great and it feels fresh under foot.I have to say the laser level was one of the best investments so far. I would have been lost without it. It is just such a great bit of kit that takes all the guess work out of reading bubbles in spirit levels. Bought on Amazon for €66 it comes with two batteries and runs all day long. I think I'll do a video on all the tools and bits I bought to do our renovation. It's a big investment but the time saved is huge and we'll have them for all our future projects. Nothing worse than standing around looking for a tool to do a job.
Had a delivery from @castorama after making an online order the other day. Arrives quickly and complete unlike the fiasco that is Leroy Merlin. I ended up cancelling the floor with Leroy Merlin and ordering from @castorama
Have a great weekend. I'll do a quick update tomorrow as I want to go to the house and just finish off the floor and clear the place a bit. Our window order is arriving on Monday so I have to find time to fit those in between all the other jobs but they will be a real game changer in keeping in the heat when we get heat! Had a technical issue with some audio today so sorry for the fluctuation in sound levels.
