Got a Synthstrom Deluge recently for making music on the go. After a few hours of just trying to navigate it, I gave up. Came back to it a few days later and sorta forced myself to create something. This track is the result. Have to say...I am starting to fall in love with it. 80%+ of the track came together in the last 20% of time, while I was working on the Arrangement. The light bulb sorta went on and it started making sense. Now, I'm glad I didn't bail on the device and have lots of ideas how I might use it.
For this track, there are a few samples used: housey flute and piano are single note samples (not loops), but one of the shakers is a loop. Everything else was either a new synth a created, or a built in Synth or Drum Kit (which are factory samples loaded). Overall, very impressed with the sample and/or synthesis capabilities. LOTS of options.
