At the closing of The Mathematics of Consciousness—the multimedia installation by Charles Atlas, which debuted at Pioneer Works in 2022—the artist reunited with Christian Fennesz to perform a collaborative live AV set with immersive sound and visuals. Fennesz's lush guitar and laptop compositions melded with Atlas's live mixing of sampled film footage, and the two were supported by Lazar Bozic, who composed the exhibition's score. This project is supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Program in Public Understanding of Science and Technology, bridging the two cultures of science and the arts.
