This is a Hardware Jams Christmas challenge. We were each randomly appointed a group member, who we had to write a song for that represented them in some way. You can see who I was appointed at the end of this video, or via the link below.I spent a while watching his videos, and man, there are some great jams on this channel! I tried to capture his essence by trying to emulate some of his unique characteristics; glitchy drums, ambient reverbs, and big polyphonic synth pads. He also loves Boards of Canada – so I've added a little saturation and warble for good measure.
Hopefully this jam goes someway to representing his sound, but also mixed with my style. I feel our styles/inspirations are not too dissimilar.
