Radiant Tubing in Concrete Slab 🔥

We chose to install radiant tubing in our garage floor as a trial run for the main house. You only get one chance to do this in a concrete slab and it is the most effective way to heat with radiant flooring due to the thermal mass.

The tubing was under $500 and insulation about $1500, so it made sense for us even if we don’t hook up the expensive part (boiler + controls) until further down the road.

ABOUT US: We are Alex and Elaina, a couple in our 20s who are currently living on the farm in Pennsylvania where Alex grew up. We have a garden, backyard chickens, and build or fix anything that we need to.
