The music video director and producer Johan Lundsten shares his vision:
- "Me and the band instantly knew we shared many visual references, with genre movies such as the more recent works of Robert Eggers. With Set Me On Fire we wanted to paint a picture of ritualized fire magic and male repentance, I can't think of many more exciting thematic combinations than those. We loved the idea of using dance as a form of spellcasting, a conjuration of damnation upon a sick world. Linn Karinsdotter was an amazing casting as the Witch, being well versed with fire as well as evocative dancing. The thing in the attic is actually heavily inspired with the creatures inhabiting the works of Hieronymus Bosch, being able to convey that otherworldly beauty and grace."
