'Hey Kings & Queens, I’m Dan Phelan from the beachside city of Newcastle, Australia. I’ve been collecting 45s most of my life and have been DJing out with them for at least 15 years. I’ve met so many people and made so many great friends because of these little bits of plastic. I’m a music obsessive into a wide variety of music from early blues to house and everything in between.
I recorded this mix in a beer garden, playing to a small crowd, chilling out with a beer, on a hot Sunday afternoon. There’s some classic funky soulful tunes in here, and I hope you enjoy. It's all about the music!'
