No more running.
No more walking.
No weight-bearing.
Crutches, stillness, and a whole lot of learning how to be instead of do.
And as someone who helps people face their fear every day… yeah, I had to sit with mine too.
👉 Acceptance doesn’t mean I’m okay with what’s happening.
It means I’m not fighting the truth anymore.
It means I show up for what I can do instead of spiraling about what I can’t.
This is the same work I teach for OCD and anxiety recovery:
It’s not about pushing through.
It’s about committing to the long game—even when the progress is slow, boring, and uncomfortable.
Not a quick fix.
Not a pretty highlight reel.
But healing that actually lasts.
✨ Huge thank you to and Dr. Elise in Brookfield for helping me rebuild—patiently, practically, and without the BS.
You don’t have to like where you’re at to accept it.
You just have to stop fighting it, and start moving forward—even if it’s one (crutch lol) step at a time.
