This video contains music video clips of songs where the artists name themselves in the song title and/or lyrics. Rap songs are not included as there are far too many songs where rap artists mention themselves. This only includes the time periods of the 60s - 90s as it also became much more common for artists to name themselves in songs in the 2000s. There are a couple of stretches here but go with it. In some cases the song mentions certain members of the group rather than the group itself. I'm sure many are missing, but I tried to pick fairly well known songs that were either released as singles or were seen in videos on MTV.
