This old man in his 80s had been sitting in the same spot selling vegetables in the cold for a long time but due to the weather there were fewer people around and he kept shivering from the cold. A young man had been watching from afar and the sight broke his heart.
He decided to approach the old man and the old man asked him what he wanted to buy. But upon seeing his vegetables and eggs it's clear that everything has gone bad. Still, the young man decided to buy some things from the old man to encourage him.
When he asked the old man if he was cold, the old man was hard of hearing and didn't know what the young man was asking, the young man didn't waste any time and rushed to buy a warm jacket for the old man.
He also got the old man a hat. The old man was still sitting there when they returned. They changed his hat and as they were changing his jacket they noticed that he was wearing short sleeve shirt underneath. Even the next door street vendor started helping to put on the man's long sleeve shirt, and the jacket. Not wanting the old man to stand there in the cold in short sleeve shirt for too long.
The sight even drew in a crowd. Now the old man will be warmer when he sells his vegetables. Although the young man wasn't able to buy all the vegetables from the old man, he's grateful regardless. What do you think about this kind gesture?
