10 British Word Pronunciations Americans find Hilarious … WTF?? We are Brits who now live in America. I think it’s fair to say we’ve mostly retained our British accents. Americans love our accents and love hearing us speak.

HOWEVER, the way we pronounce certain words is hilarious to their ears. Worse still, they ask us to repeat them - or they repeat them back to us in a “British” accent 🙄
