One of the most recognizable landmarks on the beautiful Catalina Island is the Catalina Casino! It is a round, Art Deco structure surrounded by the sea on three sides. Catalina Casino opened in 1929 and was never gambling facility, but a place of entertainment. In its earlier years, guests arrived via steamship to dance and even attracted celebrities! Today, it is used for a variety of entertainment and cultural events such as movie showings, live performances, weddings, private parties, and more.
