Former Egypt swimming champion, Khaled El Shobokshy, is tuned in to the ongoing Beijing Winter Games in China with keen interest. After being introduced to skiing two years ago, he has been competing in the masters' category at international competitions, winning several medals. With Egypt enjoying mostly warm weather, Shobokshy had convinced artificial snow parks to engage competitively with the aim of unearthing future Winter Olympics competitors.
