amateur music producer and I'm exploring and learning Max/MSP by myself.
I will introducing you some sound design ideas in Max/MSP,
especially for some ambient music production stuff.

0:00 start
0:24 change steps in this sequencer
1:00 first step of our hihat is triplet
1:41 generate new random number for each triplet sound
3:06 use this to control each triplet volume
3:52 or shape our hihat sound?
5:34 alternating 0 and 1 gate when hit specific step
11:03 use this to control our ratchet steps
13:05 trigger sounds when step counter hit specific step
14:34 add a little bit delay "groove" to the specific step
16:03 alternating effect process chain(of course you can use random number to control this gate)
