About the Album:
"TUGU is a culmination of our desires to move forward from expectations of what a band is... and what it should sound like. We were attracted to the idea of combining organic instruments with electronics and samples to create something that feels familiar yet can be uncomfortably alien too.
We dived deeper into what is possible in the ‘studio’, and on our computers… fully fleshing out the songs with production ideas that are beyond what’s usually possible with a band.
