I upgraded another ship to the Apex Form! You can see what you think about it. Please Like, subscribe, ask questions and leave comments! (I did a voice commentary but it didn’t seem to record!) The Esperon is one of my new favorite ships! It is offensively balanced with an Alternating front laser and seeking side lasers, Allowing you to focus on the mid bosses while also taking care of small targets.
Defensively it has the Phalanx shield, Which is great for medium experience players, You only have to activate it when you need it!
The epsilon upgrade is small but useful. Shots inside the arc of the phalanx shield are neutralized, making it better as an emergency defense.
The gold upgrade also looks a lot better then the drab original form!
Charge up the "clover missiles" conveniently after you have deployed that shield, or between levels. (I still think the charging for the mega attacks is too inconvenient on this particular game to be really useful!)
Is the 25,000 credit upgrade to worth it? Again maybe not, for a small addition, but I will enjoy having it. (I would prefer if they lower the price of the Apex forms, so we can all enjoy a few more of them!)
This is a favorite, one of the only "lootcrate" games I would play! (Open your “warp gate” often, and watch ads for free credits. I did once actually get an Apex level ship from the warp gate! Ultra rare.) They keep making it interesting with upgrades, but I wish they would have more gameplay variety as new ships are introduced, Most are very similar to existing ships with a different appearance.
That said, Esperon is an interesting new ship I recommend!
