Heroic Dose by Acid Lungs is album 1/? of an experimental genre I call "Black Acid Rock." It mixes elements and subject matter of 1970s and 1980s black metal bands with psychedelic and acid rock of the 1960s and 1970s. Initially, I wanted to call it Acid Metal, however this album retains a lot of its acid rock and 60s style licks and vocals, making it less reminiscent to metal alone. Thems the breaks.
T.A.F. Records is produced with AI, human lyrics, and some original samples.
