The design is simple. It is in a bail format. The design starts about 3 inches above the wrist. It has many traditional Rajasthani design elements to it. Just above the wrist there are two primary elements of the design. A flower pattern and a peacock pattern. These two patterns are very prominent and cover about 50% of the length. Going from the wrist towards the fingers the lace pattern splits into two. One part moves towards the thumb and the other part moves towards the index finger. Remaining fingers are also decorated starting from the tips to about 50-60% of the length of the finger. This keeps the mehndi light at the same time it does not lose it's Rajasthani touch.
