Phoenix Rising is an old song and I wrote and taped it for the first time on a 4-track recorder in my sleeping room.Later in 2008 we did a new version in our 16-track studio called the Stairway Studio.
The result was very good but nobody was interested anymore because the music klimat changed so much.
It was all thrash and death metal. Melodic hard rock was out !
Adrian still thinks it's one of the best songs I have ever written.
So as a surprise to him I uploaded it on YouTube.
