India: Dense Fog Blankets New Delhi, Visibility Drops To Zero

A thick layer of fog covered India’s capital, New Delhi, and its surrounding areas, including Noida and Gurgaon. It also reduced visibility at several locations to zero amid cold wave conditions. At least seven flights have been cancelled, and 184 others have been delayed. Additionally, 26 trains bound for New Delhi are running late, and the timings for six trains have been changed. The India Meteorological Department had also issued an alert for "dense" to "very dense" fog.
