This is one of the most interesting ways of how to divide the US. Did you know that if we split the United States into these 4 quarters they will have one thing in common? Even though each of them has a completely different size. All of these regions have roughly the same population of 83 million people. That is crazy. It’s the perfect showcase of the unevenly distributed population in the US. While Midwest is largely empty. The Northeast is packed with people in large cities like New York, Boston or Philadelphia.
