Here is a comprehensive chase of the PHL YPSW24 Reyes Switcher from Berth 200 Yard in Wilmington to Cargill in Lynwood, CA. We start off at watching the train build its set at Berth 200, following it as it departs west to wye on the Rio Tinto Lead, then up the Alameda Corridor onto the Patata Industrial Lead featuring many mechanical bell crossings, performing industrial switching work at Cargill in Lynwood before making its run to International Paper on the Reyes Spur in Compton. This local runs quite a long distance, allowing for many opportunities to see this train throughout its work. PHL 21, an MPI MP20B-3 rebuilt off the frame of a GP38, famous for being involved in the intentional derailing in an effort to damage the hospital ship USNS Mercy in 2020, serves as power for this local. Thanks for watching!
