Welcome to the Storyteller Series, where every ride carries a legacy.

This one’s different—it’s personal. Trent Meng’s 1950 Chevy 6400 has been in the family since the day his great-grandfather drove it off the lot. For decades, it hauled grain and built memories across three generations of farming life. But when Trent brought it back from retirement in 2014, he had one goal: honor the past while building for the future.

Starting with a Chevy P-30 chassis from an ’82 Frito-Lay van, Trent went all-in: custom back half, 4-link rear, Watts link, dual air bags, and 22-inch Alcoa wheels. The original workhorse now rides on air with a slammed stance and serious street presence. Under the hood? A Cummins 4BT turbo diesel built by Martin Machine, paired with a TH400 trans and a CAT-style stack that spits attitude.

This build isn’t just clean—it’s meaningful. Generations in Steel is the story of family, farming, and one man’s mission to keep the tradition alive through steel, diesel, and soul.
