
If you can remove the actuator from the caliper while its still mounted on the car, you can unwind the piston with a ring spanner. In my case I couldn't do that as the screws were nearly chewing up. So I can to leave that in place and remove the caliper. The caliper bolts came out easily enough, but removing this while the pads were still clamped tight on the disc was a challenge.
