Dr Marat Fudim (Duke University School of Medicine, NC, US) joins us on-site at Heart Failure 2022 to outline the findings of REBALANCE-HF Roll In Cohort (NCT04592445).
In this study, patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) were randomized 1:1 to receive either ablation of the right greater splanchnic nerve (GSN) or sham at the time of the procedure. The study aimed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Axon System at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months.
