Wow, I can't believe this mix will officially be 10 years old later this year. Back in 2014 this mix was literally played all around the world. I heard it was played in some top notch hotel lobbies to the finest of bars and restaurants and everywhere in between. Time really flies when you are having so much musical fun, that's for sure. If you know a little bit about me or have listened to any of my DJ Sets you already know just how much I love me some: Helen Folasade Adu (aka) Sade! I've actually done two mixes exclusively featuring some of Sade's amazing works but this was my very first and as she's so eloquently stated herself: "It's Never as Good as The First Time" So Enjoy...

Yes, it was March 16th, 1993 (I will never Forget it) That Night I witnessed The Best Concert Performance I've Ever Seen! It was at The World Famous Fox Theater in Detroit and featured none other than The Great: Ms. Sade Adu! It was The "Love Deluxe" Tour and featured her always Tight Band: "Sade" which featured their incredibly talented band leader Stuart Mathewman (Sweetback). I have Loved this group since I first heard "Why Can't We Live Together" blasting on a lonely Detroit Street corner one late summer night in the mid 80s. But This Concert took me to another Level of Fan! When Sade sang "Haunt Me," "Pearls" "Cherry Pie" and "Like A Tattoo" Wooooo... I was in Complete Musical Heaven. I Always knew one day I would try to capture Sade's Essence with a "House Mix" but was never really sure about which Tunes to Play? Well, I think I've come up with a pretty good Playlist featuring some Incredible Remixes, B-Sides and Groovy Edits. I Hope this Mix will do "Team Sade" a tad bit of The Musical Justice they so rightfully Deserve! (Enjoy)
