I've spent a lot of time recently trying to set up my studio so I can record each instrument individually. This was my first run out with that set up.

This was for a #HardwareJams weekend challenge where the songs had to include some kind of mallet voice/instrument. I used my tongue drum, which usually sits collecting dust, I then recorded it through the Desert Cities delay plugin, then via the Strymon Deco tape saturation pedal. The outcome is barely recognisable, but it forms a nice and glitchy foundation to the track.
