You might en thinking ‘But what’s wrong with that? Your layout looks amazing!’

Well, there were a few issues with this plot design that I wish I had known starting out:

- First up those beds are massive 😆 so wide I could barely reach across to weed, plant or harvest without stepping into it
- The direction is also less than ideal! Watering the beds meant most of it running off onto the paths downhill
- And that grass… it just ended up invading the beds stealing water and nutrients, effectively reducing my growing space A LOT!

It took me ages to change things around and it would have been much smoother (and less work) doing it a more suitable way from the start.
