Facing a 90-day suspension from parliament for contempt, ex UK PM Boris Johnson resigned after having been found by the House of Commons privileges committee to have repeatedly misled Parliament.

Following Johnson's resignation, Alastair Campbell, former Downing Street director of communications and spokesman for the Labour Party, publicly called Johnson a turd and said that the sooner he was flushed down the toilet the better.
